Exhibit HB1 Document cited Publication No. CN1260895A, Application date 1998.04.15 Figure 1. The PSTN 50 includes land lines and wireless cummunication links. Thus, the PSTN 50 provides connectivity to a plurality of remote wireless units or mobile stations, of which a customer mobile station 60 (e.g., a mobile phone) is just one example, and to non-mobile units such as commercial terminals 70 via land lines; and
As shown in step 302 of Figure 3A, the prompt string includes a first prompt to enter a merchant identifier and a second prompt to enter a transaction amount. For security, a third prompt for a customer personal identification number (PIN) may also be generated. All types of additional security functions can be added independently or incidentally, such as a key of the mobile station, fingerprint identification, ect. Figure IB; for example, the encryption may be done using a SIM (user identification mobile) card in the customer mobile station 60 and a similar encrypted card in the customer terminal 70. Furthermore, the SIM
( User identification mobile) card used by the customer mobile station 60 of the present invention may also be used as a credit card, in which case payment may be debited to the customer credit card account number or phone bill.

Step 302 of Figure 3A, security functions such as a key of the mobile station, fingerprint identification, etc.

See ExhibitHB1 Citation 1998; Figure 1, for example , in that the customer mobile station 60 includes a GPS (Global Positioning System) communication transponder 62. The GPS transponder 62 is used to query the GPS satellite 100 and derive a GPS response therefrom that represents the current GPS coordinates of the customer mobile station 60. Event E0 of FIG. 1A depicts a query by a customer mobile station 60 and a response by a GPS satellite 100. GPS queries and responses may occur periodically upon activation of the customer mobile station 60. Alternatively, the customer mobile station 60 may be programmed to query the GPS satellite 100 upon detection of the number dialing of the telecom pay business of the present invention. In addition, merchant database 224 of Figure 2D includes one additional domain for each merchant record, specifically domain 224D. Domain 224D pre-stores merchant location (GPS) coordinates. For the telecom pay TSN 30A (1) of Figure 2A (1), information is added to the domain at step 306, specifically the merchant location coordinates of domain 224D.
